This Banknote is printed in 2 Colors Red and Black, by American Bank Note Company. The central vignette depicts Two Men & Two Horses Plowing a Cornfield, there is a Farmhouse and a Steam Train in the distance. To the left two oval portraits of a Woman at the top and a Man below her. At the bottom a small Beehive vignette. The lower right has a very fancy ornate " 20 " counter in black. There is another fancy " 20 " counter at the left center in black with red scallops around it. Appears across the bottom to help thwart counterfeiting. The reverse of this note is ornate, printed in 1/Color Red, with the Bank title.
In a fancy font lettering run across the reverse of the note. " incorporated into the Bankname and the word ". Repeats continuously around the framework of the note in micro-printing, reversed out of the solid red border. All these measures made it much more difficult to counterfeit the note in that time period. This note has near perfect centering with even margins all around.
