The Iraq 5,000 Dinars is a red and yellow banknote that measures 177 x 78 mm. The front side shows a female Kurdish farmer holding asheaf of wheat with a modern tractor plowing the field in the background. The back side features Babylonian king Hammurabi receiving laws from Shamash the Sun God, as well as the Lion of Babylon, an ancient symbol that represents the king. The banknote also has a windowed security thread and watermarked with the image of a horses head.
